Hong Kong City is in huge contrast to the island of Mallorca, flight travel alone to Hong Kong can take up to 11 hours and 40 minutes and that is the shortest flight time you could hope to experience on the way to Hong Kong.  A flight to Mallorca takes just over 2 and a half hours.  There is much to see and do in Hong Kong, the city itself is full of life and has an enormous amount of lights.  Just out of the city centre is the Giant Budha which people in their thousands flock to see each year.  After a tram journey up 1,200 feet you can reach the peak, which offers fantastic views across Hong Kong and down over landscapes looking over the brilliant harbour.  The temperature in Hong Kong varies throughout the year and has four seasons, the climate itself is influenced greatly by the north in winter and in the summer by the south.  It is the rainy season in Hong Kong from the months of June through to August, the best weather is usually experienced in the autumn and spring.  Tropical storms and typhoons doe pose a risk from the month of April through until October.
