The Olympic Games which were held in Beijing in the summer of 2008 attracted many tourists to Hong Kong and found that many Western practices coexist with the tradition and practices of Chinese culture. Hong Kong’s cuisine such as dim sum and da been lo will often be on sale next door to the Western fast food restaurants. It is very important that any premises that sell food have a wine fridge (Weinklimaschrank) as the climate is very humid and drinks need to be kept as cool as possible. These fridges are often exported to the UK from Hong Kong City. The best time of the year to visit Hong Kong is in the spring or autumn when it is usually dry and sunny. Although Hong Kong is seen as an international finance and trade centre it is also famous for many Hollywood performers such as Bruce Lee, Chow Yun-Fat and Jackie Chan for their martial art skills.
